Matmut is strengthening its partnership with its portfolio company SecurKeys, the pioneer of “guardian angel” assistance, to offer a phygital service that duplicates emergency keys using a photo of a key.
Why:
To put an end to the difficulties linked to the loss of keys (home, car, motorbike, etc.) or doors accidentally slammed, and the abuses that are frequently associated with them using an emergency key solution operated by SecurKeys.
How:
- SecurKeys offers a simple, anonymous, and secure response in the event of key glitches: repatriation of duplicate keys in 1 hour, with a 24/7 delivery by one of their 1,500 approved security agents.
- The service relies on a digital platform and a national network of highly secure custody centers operated by approved legal entities.
- It is available as part of the insurer’s home incident assistance which can be taken as an add-on to a main or secondary home insurance policy and will soon be available to all Matmut members wishing to duplicate their key at a preferential rate.
- The insured sends his key to SecurKeys via a registered letter. And based on a simple photo, SecurKeys allows the reproduction of building keys and badges remotely and quickly with complete safety.
